AFI will always be a favourite of mine, this band is amazing.
This film is fantastic! Really good ‘feel good’ movie. Proving that the underdog can always come out on top!
If you are into supsensful movies then you should check out ‘HUSH’
I have not updated this blog in so long due to school and other commitments taking up all my time.
First of all, you guys should check out this new online mag NO HEROES i am shooting for. Heaps of rad interviews and reviews!

On saturday i made the trip into the UNSW Roundhouse to shoot a bunch of bands playing the annual Hardcore festival in sydney.
I was really siked to shoot this as i need to practice shooting venues like this to improve.
The first band to play were Melbournes ‘Iron Mind’. This band has recently put out their ep ‘The Sun Has Set’ which i picked up a few weeks ago and really enjoy. They played a great set; here is a photograph from the set they played (more to come soon):
The next band to play were a band from Perth called Clever Species, Unfortunately i did not shoot them as i was getting a feed which took much longer than expected. I got back in time to shoot a band called House Vs. Hurricane. I shot a few songs from this band and here are the photographs:
(Still to come)
BLKOUT are a band that i really dig and was so siked to shoot/see. They have just released a new record titled ‘Total Depravity’ which is absolutely amazing to say the least. Here are some photos from their set:
‘Bad Blood’ were the next band to play and this happened to be their last show. This band had released an EP and Album over the past four years as a band and it is sad to see them end. Break Even played after Bad Blood to an extremely energetic crowd. This band has just released a new record which is absolutely amazing. I am not able to upload the photos yet but i will be uploading them very soon.
Next up were Cruel Hand from the United States. This band played with so much energy and intensity which made for an amazing stage presence. I have listened to this band a fair bit recently but seeing them live has really got me siked on this band. Here are a bunch of photographs:
Miles Away were next on stage. They are one of Australias premier hardcore bands from Perth. They have always put on a great live show and i am happy to have finally shot this band. Their set was great, they played heaps of my favourite songs including a Street Youth cover. Here are the photos:
The headlining band was Carpathian. This band has been one of my favourite bands for years. Their new record Isolation is in my opinion one of the best Australian Hardcore releases ever. Here are a bunch of photos from their set:
